The 4th module of Sandplay Therapy Training from 2020 will be organized online, and will consist of 2 days of training with Anke Seitz (Germany), Teaching Members ISST and member of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Sandspieltherapie.
ISST takes into account the online training and supervision hours, under certain conditions (please check their website for more information www.isst-society.com).
About the training
31 oct. - 01 nov.Fantasy, symbol and play have central roles in the development of the individual. What is effective in Sand-PLAY-Therapy, when we regard play through a Jungian/ Analytik frame? In this Theory Online-Training we will learn and exercise about mediatory and transitional activities in Sandplay Therapy, especially about Jungs core concept of the symbol-creating „Transcendent function“, which anticipated Winnicotts ideas about play by several decades. We also want to reflect on the role of the therapist and the symbolic attitude in working with the transcendent function.
Theoretical concepts will be illustrated by case-material.

Fees
The fee for 2 days of training is 100 euro, that can be paid in our bank account as follows: 50% will be paid in advance by 15 oct. 2020 (the advance will not be repaid in case of no participation), the other 50% will be paid by 30 oct. 2020.

Training hours: Saturday and Sunday from 09:30 am to 06:30 pm (Eastern European Summer Time - UTC+3), with 2 coffee breaks per day and one lunch break of 1hr. You will receive a notice if something will change until the date of the training.
About Sandplay
It is a therapeutic method developed by Dora M. Kalff, in Zollikon, Switzerland, based on the psychological principles of C.G.Jung. It is a creative form of therapy using the imagination, characterized by the use of sand, water and miniatures in the creation of images within a “free and protected space” of the therapeutic relationship and the sand tray. A series of Sandplay images portrayed in the sand tray create an ongoing dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious aspects of the client’s psyche, which activates a healing process and the development of the personality. This therapeutic method may be successfully applied to individual work with both adults and children. (please see www.isst-society.com)
